As of Friday, Laura Tucker, an outreach worker with Greater Cincinnati Behavioral/PATH was stranded in Thailand because of the civil unrest there. Apparently a high ranking law enforcement official became so outraged about the death of Thai nationals in the terrorist attacks in India that he publicly called for people to take to the streets. This has led to both civil and governmental unrest. Among other problems, no commercial flights are currently leaving Bangkok. In Cincinnati, PATH helps homeless mentally ill people connect with housing and other resources. Ms. Tucker and her coworkers are a hugely under-appreciated, underfunded resource here in Marginopolis. Please keep her safe return in your thoughts.
